The third Rata-SM (Finnish Championships) race weekend in Pärnu, Estonia, took place in hot conditions and with about 200 drivers participating from both Finland, Russia and Baltic states.

The Finnish Championships in Formula Ford is off to a great start - the first races were held this weekend at Kemora under a blazing sun (25...27degC!) and some occasional very heavy thunderstorms/showers...

Buri 3rd, Anttila 9th in series after Knockhill

After the Knockhill (rounds 4, 5, 6 of a total of 25 rounds) the Finnish drivers Antti Buri and Jesse Anttila are doing well. The series results show that Antti is 3rd with 103 points, and Jesse is 9th with 68 points. Ahead of Antti is Scott Malvern (146 points) and Scott Pye (123 points), behind him very close Daniel Cammish (100 points) and Josh Hill (93 points). Tio Elinas follows at 83 points, so also quite close...

Granted, these are early times, but spells well regardless - clearly an interesting season to follow!
