LMS Racing with driver Antti Buri and the Mtec FD09 Formula Ford have scheduled their roll-out for March 13-14, 2009, in the UK.
The team is arriving on Thursday, and the actual roll-out takes place on Friday March 13 at the Snetterton race track, continuing Saturday March 14 at Brands Hatch. The team also plans to visit Donington and Rockingham the following week. Later on in the month tests continue on the same tracks, and include also Oulton Park.The roll-out kicks off the team's intense season in the UK. There are also plans to potentially participate in some of the Finnish Formula Ford Championship races, but the team's focus and first priority is strictly on the UK Formula Ford Championships, and competing in all the races there.
Mtec is the Finnish Formula Ford manufacturer owned my Markku Mäkelä. Markku acquired the estate of Comtec, which went into banktruptcy last year. Mtec plans to continue manufacturing Formula Ford cars, and are located in Oulu, northern Finland.
