Buri's streak of bad luck continued at Rockingham.
Already in the qualifying issues apparently came up, and the first race the car no longer performed optimally. Eventually the engine blew, and the LMS Racing team was not able to participate in the second race.
This is the third time their Duratec engine failed. The team is now seriously considering how to approach their season. The results in the UK Formula Ford series being non-existent so far, it is clear that to produce strong visible results in a series will be difficult.
Talking to Risto Buri, team head, it seems ensuring strong results in the NEZ (North European Zone) would now be in their best interests.
