The VM Motorsport Show is finally done with, and it seemed to be quite a success. Plenty of traffic and a good time for all the motorsports practitioners to get together...
While the days were busy at the exhibition, rumor has it that the evenings were no slower. At least the faces of a few Formula Renault drivers and the younger guys from LMS Racing and Enigma Motorsport indicated that nightlife in Helsinki was not dull this Saturday... I hope none of the guys are any slower due to the partying...Ok, that's enough of the juvenile talk, there was a lot to see and hear at the show. Lindsay Allen of Fluid Motorsport dropped by, as did Alan Wardropper from Scholar Engines, and Linton and Tom from Enigma Motorsport, so some heavy hitting UK FF guys were abound. LMS Racing had a nice display of their upgraded Mygale, and downstairs at the AKK stand there were Formula Renaults and Formula Fords abound.
On the datalogging side I was pleased to see a lot of people checking in at our Race Technology display, and it was very impressive to see GEMS' new OLED display which really had excellent color and brightness. OLEDs definitely are the way to go it seems, and personally I hope Race Technology gets out a unit soon as well.
Below some pictures from the show, unfortunately only from around where I was standing...
