Antti Buri did a fantastic race in Oulton today, ending up second right after Scott Malvern in the Ray GR10. The other Finns were not quite as fast, with Jesse Anttila at 11th, Sebastian Nummi at 12th, and Ville Kivinen DNF. Results for race 2 at TSL.
Race 3 continued on the same note, however now Scott Pye and Scott Malvern kept their positions to the end. Antti Buri came in at 3rd, followed at 0.067s by Jesse Anttila at 4th. So it seems the two Finns now both did an excellent race, getting through from grid positions 5 and 7! As for lap times, Pye and Malvern both logged 1.40,525, Buri came in at 1.41,315, and Anttila best lap was 1.41,242.
Sebastian Nummi came in at 10th, and Ville Kivinen at 13th. Nummi best lap time 1.42,891, and Kivinen 1.42,984 (last lap!).
So all in all, a good season start for all Finns, and these guys will bring some serious race routine with them as they join us here locally for the Finnish Championship title (well, all except Anttila, who seems to focus on UK).
