This years Formula Ford Finnish Championship promises to be interesting - we will see at least two of the new Duratec cars racing.
Both cars are the ex-Comtec now Mtec type, and their success in the last year's UK Championships promises high pace also here in Finland. Mtec cars are now manufactured in Finland, after the whole Comtec operation was sold and transferred here. The car is one of the best looking Formula Fords (see pics in our Gallery section).Drivers racing with the new Mtec Duratec cars are Miika Hirsimäki and Milla Mäkelä. There is also rumors that Antti Buri will be racing in a Duratec, but as his focus seems to be the UK series it is not clear which races in Finland he will be able to participate.
