Mtec, the company from Oulu that took over Comtec's operations as it faltered into banktruptcy, will have at least two drivers in 2009.  However, it seems only one of them will be driving Rata-SM. Milla Mäkinen will drive the full Finnish Championship series, while Miika Hirsimäki will focus on the NEZ races. At this stage it is not clear if they will be driving the same car or not. Miika's experience undoubtedly will help the Mtec team to optimize their speed. There may be other drivers joining the Mtec squad, which indeed would be crucial to ensure the marquee becomes known and starts building up demand.
