At Alastaro the discussion about RE85/ethanol availability in Estonia came up. Seems ferry regulations state that only 50l of fuel can be carried on with each vehicle.
This of course poses some serious difficulties for most if not all teams in the FF Rata-SM (Finnish Championship) series. The regulations regarding the fuel to be used do state, however, that the fuel used must be readily available. As RE85 is not available in Estonia, the Formula Ford Finland Association today stated that the fuel to be used in the Pärnu race is gasoline.
The schedule for Pärnu starts Thursday next week, with free practice 17-21, followed by free practice 11-17 on Friday.
